When I was recently in the Netherlands, I was lucky enough to sit down with one of the co-founders of my favorite denim store: Amsterdam’s Tenue de Nimes for a chat about denim and retail. Rene Strolenberg is a man who quite clearly loves denim and it was a truly enjoyable experience talking to him and picking his brain on parts of the buying process, the Dutch denim scene and raw denim culture.
